Pizza Party
To celebrate all of our hard work, we will be having a pizza party during our last Green Club meeting on May 26th. We will eat during regular lunch times. The cost of the pizza party will be compliments of Mr. Clay. Thank you, Mr. Clay! Drinks will also be provided.

Summer Fun!
Here are a few fun "green" places to visit and things to do this summer:

- Create fun projects with materials from Arts and Scraps
- Visit your public library for free books and movies to borrow
- Bike or hike at Brighton Recreation Area
- Enjoy the butterflies and beautiful gardens at MSU Horticultural Gardens and Butterfly House or Cranbrook House and Gardens or U of M Botanical Gardens
- Stop by the Howell Nature Center to see the animals
- Bike, play, visit the farm, have a picnic and enjoy Kensington Metropark Island Lake Recreation Area
- Find a Geocache with your family.
- Play croquet or kickball in the backyard
- Enjoy shopping, eating, movies, farmer's market, festivals and concerts in Downtown Howell
- Stay cool with squirt guns, sprinklers, and water balloons
- Pitch a tent and go camping...even in your backyard
- Jump into one of Michigan's beautiful lakes!
- Watch fire flies...try to catch one in your hands
- Have a picnic
- Visit Downtown Brighton to play at the park, enjoy the Millpond, or relax and listen to a free summer concert
- Clear out clutter and have a yard sale
- Go on a bike ride or hike
- Have a sleepover with friends
- Enjoy a nap in a hammock
- Go fishing
- Learn a foreign language
- Plant a garden
- Go canoeing
- Fly a kite
- Play a game of freeze tag
